Stephen E. Ryan - Aspiring Writer
Stephen E. Ryan was born in Bendigo. With his father in the army Stephen's family moved and lived in various locations in Victoria. Following in his father's footsteps Stephen also gave twenty years service to the Autralian army in the Medical Corps as storeman. In the last few years, whilst in in the army he studied to be a massage therapist. Stephen qualified in 1998 and in 2000 left the army to work independently and pursue other interests.
Stephen's Budhist teacher suggested he should do a creative writing course to help him open up, release tension and to give his life balance. Stephen then joined WITS and the true writing spark took over. He hasn't been able to stop writing ever since.
Stephen enjoys writing poetry, radio plays and short stories. One of his stories is currently being published in an anthology to be released in 2010. Stephen uses his creative writing experience to help raise questions and encourage conversations and in other pieces of writing he writes purely for fun and entertainment.
Stephen E. Ryan is presently writing his first manuscript of short stories with a view of releasing this book this coming year. |
